The Perquisite of Becoming and Making Disciple Is to Experience Compassion

If you can recall we did a teaching on these verses of Jesus being moved with compassion. I mention that Compassion means sorrow for their sufferings, pity, deep concern for one’s state of being, but I did not tell that it also means Generosity of Heart. It also means to identifying with someone else’s needs by doing for them what you would want them to do for you if you were in their shoes. Compassion is also the cure for selfishness and the energy for giving. Compassion expressed the heart of God toward his creation.
